Insanity takes hold
Shapes and forms itself within the mind
Begs me to do its bidding
I try to resist, but in the end I know that it will win
It always does
Sinks into the core where my soul should be
Tormenting me
Taunting and teasing
Picking at old festering wounds
Making them bleed again
Leaving with a wicked laugh
I cry as I am empty again
My tormenter disappears into the fog
