Lying in our bed
Tear drops on my pillow
Wondering uncertainly
With a pain deep in my heart
Just what the future holds

Looking at the full moon
High up in the sky
Wondering longingly
With a stirring in my loins
Just what I can do to make you want me again

Everything is chaos
Turmoil abound
In trying to create a new me
I’ve made a worse me

Eyes reflect the soul
I want to change them
My soul is a black place deep within me
I want to end the pain
To make a fresh start

What can I do
Where can I start
What will it take
To make you look at me with the fire of yesterday?
