I miss the way she looked at me
And smiled as I walked in the door.
The loving kiss and arms entwining around me,
Pulling me closer to her body which now molded itself to mine.
I miss the way her fingers would run through my hair.
I miss the soft closing of her eyes as my hand caressed her cheek
And how she would press against its warmth, feeling my love and feeding me hers.
I long for conversations, talk and love.
I yearn for the happiness that once was “us.”
