Hushed breathing,
fervent keystrokes tap out
illicit desires and half smiles
mixed with a dash of rogue.

Anticipation,
while electronic sprites carry my thoughts
skinny dipping in the datastream
to my lover, tangled in her covers.

Rush,
feeling her response before I read it,
her descriptive tongue quickening me,
drawing words from nimble fingers.

Bathing,
in the glow of a computer screen,
washed in the words of a stranger,
slippery, scented, and sinful.

Touching,
briefly before parting,
promises to return soon
before turning out the lights.

Drifting,
a dream slips in through the window
and joins me under flannel sheets,
spooning with me, she whispers goodnight.
