I stand alone on this railroad track.
I hear the noise right behind my back.

Ready to feel the impact of the train.
To take away my badly induced pain.

Waiting for this moment all night long.
Standing tall and become mighty strong.

I turn around seeing what's coming.
My body grows weak and numbing.

It's coming, I know how it ends.
Beats better than getting the bends.

Will I splatter or will I flatten?
My clothes feels smooth like satin.

I hear the sound of the blaring horn.
I'm left to wonder why was I born.

The warm night and the full moon.
Not to worry it'l all be over soon.

No soul around to watch me stand.
I'll wither away like a grain of sand.

Closer and closer it came.
My blood creating a big stain.

I close my eyes and hold my breath.
I wait out the timing of my death.

My heart beats and beats ever still.
I had no intentions of writing a will.

Hands behind my back, head held high.
Now is the time to say my last goodbye.

There's light at the end of the tunnel.
My life flowing down an old funnel.

Who cares? What does it matter?
At least it's better than being sadder.
