Train of Thought (a serenade)

Hey hey, Train Train
your lonely mornful sound
lifts me up, while I feel down

Hey Hey Train Train
the thought train of you
always leaves me, feeling blue

the clickity click ticks
of the rumbling tracks
always brings her memory back
rolling metal on a one way rail
carries me on a wind of prayer

headed somewhere ...

hey hey Train Train
conductor of this ride
sing sweet melodies for me this night

hey hey Train train
into the night you go
whistle for me sweet lonely and low

chugga chugga chugga ...chooo choo
"Next stop," nobody knows
listen for the lonesome whistle to blow
into darkness of a moons light glow
on and on this train of thought rolls

Hey Hey Train Train ...chooooo chooo

(begin again)

This is really good

I enjoyed it all, but the line beginning with chugga and those last few lines after that, aren't quite as good as the rest of the poem. Those first 4 or 5 stanzas are really good.
