The gentleness of your fingers
brushing my hair away from my face,
trailing along my neck,
feathering across my collarbone,
tracing along the outline of my breast,
slowly pushing against my nipple,
watching it awaken to your touch.
I look up at you,
a soft moan coming from my mouth.
Your smile loving and sweet,
warms my heart at the sight of it.
Your fingers continue their exploration.
I watch your tips
push against my ribs,
over my stomach, down my side.
Your palm resting on my hip.
Your hand follows the curve
grazing along the small of my back,
the indent of my spine,
the roundness of my shoulder.
The contrasts of
roughness and softness.
Your words are soothing,
caressing my ear,
tokens of love and affection.
Your voice resounding
throughout my body,
resting in the crevices of my soul.
The quiet comfort pulls me
into the security that I love.
The softness of your lips
pressing into my neck,
brushing over my lips,
on the tip of my nose,
against my forehead.
The beating of your heart,
hypnotic and calming.
The warmth of your strong arms
encircling me,
locking me into
your protective cocoon.
