She is somewhere that I am not
but not for long
I would travel for her
unravel for her
Dig though the gravel under me for her
for a peek into the eyes that hold me
Behold me! My heart, a piece of dust
in a dusty world where
everything chips settles quickly
Chip away, piece by piece, the layers
underground, round and round I dig
till I hit gold
Behold! A trickle of water under here
A part of the planet I have not seen before
and ignore it I will not, for I would
tread the planetary oceams for her
Through Mercury's lava,
Venus's gas
all the way to the mighty seas on Jupiter
and back for just one peek, one kiss,
that will send me circling round again

Into the petals of the flower
the pillows on my bed
where I dream of her up there staring down at me
look at the view with your eyes little girl,
and upon your head, a hola, shining with the gold
I give to you
Build a castle with comets and tassel
Grab a star and ride it to me
where I wait patiently for a glimpse of you
Is that you, flaming while you drive over?
Behold! My dream awaits
