True Love Descending

When the ship finally sails away
I'll drift behind it, riding the fading waves
One last wave to the true love descending
I learned good things don't always last forever but this time it was a little different
The summer sun shone down on my prize and showed me the way
To happiness and freedom but now its all leaving, drifting away
Miles will separate us but you'll always be a vivid image in my mind
Desires will betray us and we'll lose track of time
But I'll always know where you are as you will know where I'll always be
Because you will always be my one true destiny
Let us not fear how we'll deal with the distance
Just realize that we are connected in this one true instance
The ship has sailed away
And here I am riding the fading waves
I wave one last tyme to the true love descending
I learned that good things do last forever, you will always be my jewel, my one true pendant
