Gently the rain is falling
he washes away all the pain.
Trees stand still
patiently waiting
needles heavy with life.
Under the grey
that soothes our wounds
they don´t ask for happiness
since they bear
whatever comes.
They like the silence
they like the living.
They breathe
feel
and understand.
Sad things
poison our souls
they make us cry, cry
and turn to stone.
Laughter about rape
carelessness about dying
who would blame
the ignorant
it is the only way
to survive
in this world.
