Why can't they understand
Where it is I stand
I am not trying to cause pain
Or any sort of strain
I'm just looking for happiness
And not looking to cause a mess
I know he's not their ideal
But my feelings are real
I don't want to lose what I've got
But if I don't try I will know not
Whether this was meant to be
If it was supposed be happiness for me
