Trying To

I'm trying to Remember.
I'm starting to forget.

How long it's been since we held each other and laughed on this couch.

How you smell in that space between your neck and shoulder where I pressed my nose so many times.

The way we played, like kids in an arcade, with each others body and deep in each others brain.

I'm trying to remember.
I'm starting to forget.

The way it felt the first time we danced. We moved like lovers and came off that dance floor dazed and confused.

How easy it was for us to be together alone or not, and how good it felt when I was the one who made you laugh.

The way we kissed. How it tasted how it felt how I lost myself in it. Such a long list of kisses...soft, warm, hard, angry, sexy, lingering Kisses.

Oh the kisses

I'm starting to remember.
I'm trying to forget.
