Souls

There are some who say or maybe just guess
That life means little and death is less

But through all their sorrow and grief and pain
They shall live their lives in utter vain

But you and I know differently
Indeed we know how tenderly
With words uttered Oh so softly
And fingers feeling so very gently
Beneath a bouquet of scarlet red flowers
Two souls gently kissing for hours upon hours
