Meandering through a maze of feelings,
I look for you.
Dicing the up your words to find meanings,
I am wrong.
Remembering the promises you made me,
I am empty.
The feelings are not there.
The meanings are not true.
The promises are not fulfilled.
I ache with the realization,
You were never real.
Does it mean my feelings were not?
Were the stirrings you inspired in me then, fake?
Were the words you whispered me then, meaningless?
Were the promises you made me then, hollow?
There will be no answers from you,
And knowing this I break like glass,
Scattering shards across the floor.
