Uncle Wallys gone

bymick60a©

Uncle Wally’s gone,
And gone is.
The image of my youth.
When it came down to it.
He always told us the truth.

So much has changed,
Like the color of my hair.
As I sit and sigh,
Wondering how my youth.
Went somewhere.

Uncle Wally’s gone,
As well as my youth
