Do not come stealing round my castle's door –
I will not notice you, and, should I do,
Your presence isn't welcome any more.
The door's well-guarded and the wood is strong,
The doors are heavy and the hinges long
So get you gone! I am not having you!

Do not come begging in the market square
And don't waylay me on my way to town –
I'll look the other way, should you be there;
I do not notice strangers in the street,
Not even those I knew. Take to your feet –
The only thing I'd grant you is a frown.

Do not appeal to all that may have been –
I have forgotten and my eyes are dry;
I'm certainly not interested in
Some bygone past. Do not believe your face
In my affections still has any place –
Its image faded as the winds blew by

And I decided that it was no go
And shied away and took myself in hand –
I'll stick to the routine I used to know
Before you came and took my peace of mind
And made me tremble as I sat and pined –
Please... leave me be! You're more than I can stand.

I can just see her now...

...nose in the air, disdain written plain on her face, and I can hear the supercilious taint in her voice! A fun piece!
