Embracing my place amongst the damned
Claiming my take of the lower Hells
Praying for the grace of purgatory's stagnant pace
The grace of my monster families race
Heavens love isn't mine to take
The devil's crown laid upon the ground
Bodies burnt from vengeful flames
Angel feathers scattered in an unholy place
Ash rests atop my face
Ichor of gold and black flow like rivers down my back
Seeking solace in this war's unending race
Knowing it may never exist
So here sit on the precipice
