A mirror’s gaze is cold,
And I am lost.
In your eyes I am warmed,
And found.
A stranger’s disregard burns
But your words heal.
When all around me is dark
You bring light.
When the world is ugly,
You show me beauty.
I despair of life,
You give me faith.
I need you.
You love me.
