We are walking
in a park, on a downtown street
when he leans into me
and whispers

My face flushes hot
I try not to cry out, but
I can't do that, I
won't do that, please

yet still he speaks
the gentle murmur of a stream

a serpent sliding through grass
and I know I will
and I know how awful I will feel
and I know

I will like it

This poem seemed a bit unloved...

... but maybe it's because the eroticism is only there by implication. Nothing explicit needed and I liked that.
