Tonight you're not with me
You're home where you belong
Your wife is sleeping next to you
I am here alone
When I met you seven years ago
we agreed not to "fall in love"
I thought it would be easy
How could i have known
I have loved you for a long time
But I can never tell you
You are the love of my life
There is no me, without you
Love unspoken is no less
Than love loudly proclaimed
No less profound
My love for you is as deep
As any loved ever uttered
I only wish that one time
I could look into your eyes
And say the words softly
That have been crying out
In my heart for years
I love you
