Your blindfold slips over my eyes
And my mind becomes permeable.
You clasp my arms behind me
And I surrender my control.
Gliding against my skin, the rope awakens my demons,
Drawing them to the surface.
As you wrap me, my stresses push back
Hard against the tie.
The more you pull, the more I give.
The more I give, the deeper we delve;
Absent together.
Once bound, I let go.
A numbing embrace.
Then you loose the ends.
And it begins.
As each strand is lifted,
Barriers are removed,
Burdens are lightened,
Insecurities are freed.
Opened and exposed.
Unshrouded and reborn.
More myself than I was.
More yours than I will be.
