she leaves him feeling accomplished, as if he's done some good here tonight
he leaves her, and feels useless, cause he just can't make this feel right
she's tired of her other options, but to her he's not even one
he's tired of seeing her unhappy, so he'll do whatever needs to be done
she reaches out to him when she's in need of a smile, knowing he'll brake his back to ablidge
he reaches out and holds her hands as he stares at the words she can't say in her eyes
she tries to keep him at a distance, knowing the damage that he can do
he tries his best to pretend that it doesn't bother him but they both know thats not true
she smiles to herself as she drifts into sleep, his hands still massaging her skin
he smiles to himself knowing he's lost control of the situation he's in
she leaves him feeling helpless, cause no matter what he does she wishes he was a different man
he leaves her to sleep alone, all that's left of him a kiss left gently on her hand.
