I remember riding with you
In the truck I stole
To steal away with you
We rode down that Hampton’s road
The rich houses set back behind the trees
A working stiff and a welfare baby
Then a walk along the edge
Beer in hand, hand in hand, beer in hand
Both those highs are not
And I can’t feel a thing I felt
When I couldn’t feel a thing
