In the stillness of the night, I came to her. Watching with awesome wonder at how the moonlight shone upon her soft features. I gazed along the length of her body, watching the steady rise and fall of her chest. It seemed that all of life was right in that perfect moment. Time slipped away as I listened to her breathing. One tiny hand resting comfortably on her pillow...cradling it like a child. My heart was filled with adoration as I gently leaned down and run a warm hand across her cheek, brushing the hair from her eyes. My fingers trailed down her cheek lovingly as I watched a tender smile play on her sleepy lips. How could one so perfect in every way ever be created? With smiling eyes I watch her stir slightly, perhaps dreaming of a perfect moment of her own. Completely unaware of the way she had captivated me.
