Awakened like a sleeping child,
showing me its still alive,

swelling with joy and becoming whole again,
stirring up echos of feelings past,

reminding me to live,
to seek out and conquer my hopes and dreams,

fog rolls in,
clouding my judgement,

I know longer feel joy,
only sorrow

for the grayness doesnt fade
and the child goes back to sleep

to dreamland once again
to lie and wait

never to forget
never to regret

only search for brighter days
and he who holds the key

I think...

...you used "know" instead of "no" - spell check isn't perfect? :-) Apart from that, a nice poem.
