Untitled for a Purpose

In apathy, the love of disgust is great,
In affection, love is linked to fate,
In the young, love means a date,
In religion, love means entrance at the Gate.
My love for you surpasses all,
Like the seas of time my passion is immortal,
I use words to translate my love,
I hear you over my shoulder,
When there is no one, I ask the stars above.
Your heart is a boulder,
While I am the hill,
My song is the wind pronouncing free will.
Below us lies the lake of choice,
My song is carried by my resounding voice.
As you plummet towards the lake,
You have two choices, but only one you can make.
