Click hereI've built a little place for you
It's not a place to hide
A shrine. more like a temple
Where I hope you will reside
This place I hold in reverence
It is where the angels sing
Of all the joy my Goddess
To her humble servant brings
I hear your silent whisper
I feel your soft caress
And as your eyes envelop me
Enraptured, in my breast,
Is the heart of your retainer,
He who worships you so
Who has placed you on a pedestal
Unrequitedly, even though
I see the human frailty
Weathered on your face
I feel your pain, your hardship
Those things I would replace
With but a simple gesture
Three wishes or a wand
Or maybe softly spoken words
Of which you are so fond
Though you are now so far away
You're never far from home
Just remember the narrow path
That leads back to this poem.
