liquid poetry and liquid
evenings drenched in an
opaque darkened blue haze

build
blossom
shower and
slice

wild love

that glides into
immense summer mornings
staggered over secret
dirty days

like

a slender pronouncement
consumed only by
a bouquet of tongues

with glass cracks
in a necklace
that encases sunshine

but

remember those
rays of light
that escape and
plunge from their
dangling precept
deep down into
dirt releasing
the color of brown
black and

a green that trails up
into weeds and the
bright yellow color
blossom of a dandelion
surrounded by the
gray and silent
sidewalks that just
trail off into nowhere

sisters skipping
silently next to
children playing
hopscotch and crap
games and 21
