The price I pay for wrongs done unto you is what I deserve.
Festering, breeding, growing within me
until it drives me insane!
To die a slow and painful death now
would be bliss beyond bliss..
I would DIE so that I could keep you from feeling any pain,
any misery...
There's no pill to cure the pain I'm feeling,
and no way to tell you WHY I'm dying inside.
I can tell a lie this time, then another lie to cover this one, and yet another
until I'm starring in a Technicolor film,
all the while protecting you from the hurt it would cause you
if you knew.
How could I divulge the one thing that meant everything?
HOW COULD I?
I don't deserve you, my beautiful, loving sweetheart.
But don't leave me...
I am only trying to keep you safe from pain.
