Upon thy pillow is where I spy
my most precious beloved
who found dreamful slumber
resting deeply within
the hushed lullabies of night
as strands of starlight and moonlight
shine down upon thee
with a fervent universal embrace
for with vigilance keeping
now within the hours of sleeping
delicate angelic wings
take thy dreams flight
for nestled within the heavens above
to think solely of thee
with such abundant love
joining hand in hand for a walk
amongst the snowy clouds
