My Darling Snow Bunny ;

The fire is burning low in the fireplace
The snow is softly fluttering to the ground
The air is still within the silence of my home
I hear your soft gentle voice calling to me
I wish you could be near
As you breathe a sigh
I would be happy to hold the hands of the one I love
Upon this cold winter night

My Snow Bunny sighed and looked out the picture window of her house, in New York. The snow fell softly upon the dark lonely street, as the street light gave it a strange, almost transparent beauty. Snow Bunny whispered softly, touching the icy window pane. Than turning she walked back to the couch and sat, staring at the fire, the room's only illumination.

As the smoke rose into the shadowy sky
Her glass of wine is almost empty
As she read the beautiful lines upon the page
The words of love that I sent her
If I could know within my heart
That you were lonely too
I would be happy hold the hands of the I love
Upon this cold winter night

She picked up the note I left her on the table, before leaving earlier that evening, it was a love poem. She read it and giggled, "Always the hopelessly romantic" she thought as she laid the poem back on the table. She smiled and sighed leaning back on the couch.

The fire is dying now, my light is growing dim
The shades of night are lifting
The morning light steals across the windowpane
The webs of ice crystals on the window slowly melting, shifting

Snow bunny’s soft whisper, and gentle kiss suddenly brought me back from my daydream. She looked into my eyes, I took her soft delicate hand into mine and walked her over to the window where we watched the sunrise through the icy window

I wish I could have you near
as you breathe a sigh
I would be happy to hold your hands my love
On this cold winters morning
And to be with you once again my Snow Bunny
