let me set a notion in motion in your head america,
I bet we keep leeching and preaching til we’re dead
setting international fires and fusing every bomb
amplifed, televised screams drown every silenced song

guns are fun kids,
ask any adult who tried one
a grownup who’se opinion you trust
not mindwashed zombie butts
you can’t trust now, never do
never give up, never through
never forget it’s only

little kids we null,
vast potential we kill
in an empty world
looking for a thrill
buy, sell, consume it all
can I take your order?
sins are on sale

Take it in, look around
I’ll sell you my clothes

the military complex is a social disorder
the faults of a nation, not a person
so who’se fault is when US goes too far
and inflicts far greater injury on THEM

then the net result,
gain
US obtains
while THEY die,
US profits lies
faults of a nation are ignored
while TV makes US bored
politicians play the games
we the people people suffer the shame
of being US
