Each and every year
Its always the same
Everyone else around her is happy
Everyone else her is laughing and loving
So much
Too much has she seen
The same ole, same ole routine has become just so much bullshh

And so a vow she has made
If all remains the same
Then this time next year she's going to do it
This time next year she's going to take some kind of drastic action
She's going to take matters into her own hands
Won't be crying or living lonely every again
Won't be called a bitter, old spinster ever again

Gonna get what she wants
Gonna avoid all those pitful stares and disastrous fix-ups
Those days are gonna be long gone and behind her
Never ever to be repeated
Going out her way
On her own terms

Calling the shots
She's got it all
Step by step planned out
A wedding or a funeral
Either way she'll still be the guest of honor
Either way no one will ever forget her again
After Valentine's Day 2010 rolls on around
