My mask, a skull with a black feathered headdress. I painted its white when the explosion hit. The veil parted. Time flew then but now it drags like shoveling sand. Bone is lightweight. If you rub it against your teeth it is abrasive. O Pan, Lo Pan. I can't not believe my own religion! Chicken feet and an eagle's talon, feathers, smoke, petals and lipstick. The blood from between my thighs. Pubic hair and a cup of coffee; spit and tongue. These are all part of my religion.

A One card spread: The Nine of Diamonds-BIAS
Unneeded prejudice; blindness. Possibly a change of residence. Diamonds correspond to the Earth signs in Astrology: Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo. Mundane. Stuck in a rut or in an old worn pattern of thinking. In Yes/No=No.

Another great poem by you. I don't generally like paragraph format for poetry but it suits your style.

Vivid earthy images blended into a deeply personal stream of consciousness. Good stuff Thanks.

Gave this one a four

because while I love the first paragraph, which is a wonderful voodoo melange of imagery (that part is more than a five!), the second paragraph is not working for me. It sounds like a reading from an online oracle or some such, and maybe that's intentional but it doesn't connect up with what preceded it to me. And that has the effect of weakening the piece overall. Just my opinion and I really do think that first part is great.
