Like a veil covering my face it swirls about me
I stumble through not knowing where it leads
I'm lost and know it can no longer be found
But I can't leave my blindness behind
Memories to carry me
Reminders of clarity of my vision
To let go, knowing I must
Yet I cling even as the vapors slip between my fingers
Rushing away
