I remember her
the victim
crying out inside
never at home
not even
in her skin
He took that away
in a moment
she was changed
that was supposed
to be love
but she only found
Pain , panic
fear cannot decribe
the loss of her breath
the scream in her mind
overpowered
weak , small ,angry
how could she
remember that first time
and smile
she could tell
no one
ever
Never again
be touched
that was the victim
all had been lost
in a moment
how could she feel
joy again
victim afraid
her mind screamed
and her body was numb
then one night
victim died
i buried her there
under a soft
summer moon
he taught
pleasure
and victim died
warrior was born
a light
where darkness
lived before
she haunts me
sometimes
on lonely
nights
shh..
sleep
and she does
while warrior awakes
This is a powerful poem.It has a lot of depth, and the imagery is outstanding. I felt soooo much with this one..sadnesss..despair..lonliness..and yet still hope..
