As my dream ends, I wake up.
I open my eyes and stare at the sky of a hot summer night.
I turn around and look at you: you have pushed the sheets away
And you lie naked, your body gleaming in the moonlight.
My eyes follow that line of light.
You say you sleep better when I sleep with you,
I can see it in your face, so relaxed and free of cares.
Tiny pearls of sweat shine and twinkle on your breast
As it softly rises with your breathing.
You navel is a lake in which the reflection of the moon
is a tantalising eye staring at me.
Your mount of Venus is a forest of golden trees
Gently waving in the breeze of the fan above.

No, I don’t want to sleep though my eyelids are getting heavy,
I just want to be here and look at my sleeping beauty.

A vivid picture

I loved it. I can see your love as if I were next to her.

A few too many words for me, but very good. Sandspike

Such promise.....

.....maybe it's the wordiness - the lovely image could be summoned more simply. There are some beautiful lines here.
