But...What should it matter if I'm here or not?
Does it seal your comfort to know?
I always have been
And, if you should want to..
If you would need to reach me
To return... to look
And, there again I am.
Waiting everyday
Wanting everyway
To greet warm with open smiles
Always, me, always
But, what does it matter if I'm here?

Thank You

This is my personal favorites and to me is spiritual ... Thank you belatedly Passion and Amy the poem was meant to raise questions. Thank you GEMINI, for your support as well as your outlook.

As always your comments and critiques are most welcome

Validation

Typically the last to be sought after & yet forever the most important, SELF-validation is I believe the answer to this poem. An internal dialogue with the multiple facets of your Id will lead to an obvious concensus: you matter. Be it waiting for a bus, waiting for the kettle to boil, waiting for the rain to stop or the sun to shine; whatever the "event" they are all just symptoms of the greater blessing that is you. The star does not define itself by the planets, but rather the planets by the star...

Thank you for the joy of your writing and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

A little teaser, raising the question of who is it that is always waiting?
