Today another day
With torment
As I idly sit by
And wait
I try not to think
Of the empty mail
box
And the carrier
Who couldn't know
Leaving me without
Like a spoiled wanton child
Stranded, alone, and sending
Me into another dark, deep,
And dreary
Hapless morning
With no respite in sight.

The temples of my aching head

Throbbing in the sticky, humid hot air
Leave me another day to face
Certain uncertainly, insecurity
And plain depressed pain.
Oh how I hate to wait
So here we go again.......
