I should be dead, why is that?
Death stalks like an alley cat.

All my life he's been by my side.
Always finding a place to hide.

He won't he take me, what is he waiting for?
All he has to do is knock on my door.

Since childhood I've nearly died.
Missed opportunities slipped his mind.

On the road I survived twice.
Is death being naughty or nice?

Asthma attacks were always my thing.
All he does is stand there and sing.

Twice I've nearly been run down.
Why do I still live in this little town?

What the hell is he waiting for?
For me to suffer a little more?

I'm a big loser, all ready to drop.
But luck has it the bubble won't pop.

My life filled with failure and pain.
Scrub me off like a tough stain.

I'll be damned I'll die of old age.
My soul feels locked in a cage.

What are you waiting for my old friend?
Is this charade of yours ever going to end?

I grow tired of this childish game.
With you around it's always the same.

You had your chance to kill your target.
A big decision you would soon regret.
