holy shit
holy smoke
holy cow
holy fuck

all things holy, come forth
heed to my summoning
of invectives, profanities
all the superlatives
down on my knees
humbled I grovel

holy shit/smoke/cow/fuck
holy shmoly what a sight!

if I manage to restrain
if I'm able to hold in
things unholy
frowned upon

if I can be pious
in the presence of this

and not blow off my lid
not just stutter and drool
not just act like a fool

I will truly have the patience
and composed control
of the holiest of men

but I am only human
holy fuck - is on my mind
holy shit - has hit the fan
I am hypnotized, unholy
only instinct, almost blind

staring at the sun they say
can really burn your sight

but they never said
what staring at this sight
do to your mind

Stunning

I so love the way you write--this poem is succinct and economical in language, but explodes with the power of a fireworks display. It's a 5 only cause there's no 10. You got the gift of poetry in you, Mr. Liar! :)

Must have been one helluva sight. :D

Ah yes, that feeling.

"but I am only human

holy fuck - is on my mind

holy shit - has hit the fan"

Indeed.
