A venture balanced this thin line
the memories wake a pass through time.
How small our minds do hold
the everlasting story to be told.

The great, defeated, marked in the sand
tread carefully, the ever damned.
A precarious state to be marked
but for a memory we embark.

Strife and conflict follow time
in this passage we are sublime.
Forever remembered, the story told
while in stillness only cold.

Tell me now Antoine why this blade, this sorrow!
The snakes that left me with no tomorrow.
I searched and pondered the underworld
waiting so patient the next unfurled.

Romeo, oh young and sweet are thee
caress me slowly, regret our family tree.
I kiss your lips, and close my eyes
in one last breath, love never dies.

Marcel please speak, it’s been so long
entwined in this dance forever our song.
I tried for sometime to continue on
though sustained for sometime, now it is gone.

Rewrite these great stories, oh please I do cry
Ours is too precious, to just pass by.
I have found you again in these great centuries of past
Tell me cruel time, it will not be the last.
