I've climbed your walls before okay.
Found places to put my hands..my feet.
Hung on for dear life during your torrents of rage.
Prayed to god above I wouldn't lose ground.

Losing ground with you, was like losing days..years.
Slipping and sliding down a slick surface..
No ridges..nothing to hold onto.
And then..when I was at the bottom..looking up..
you beckoned me to climb again..
to persevere..

You told me you wanted to be with me..never to leave me.
You asked me to go the distance with you, until there
was no road left to travel.
To grow old with you..and find solace in our quite moments.
When there was nothing to say..nothing to do..
But listen to our breathing..or watch snowflakes fall on crisp winter breezes..you begged me with your eyes..
Beckoned me deeper..let me see the light of your soul..

That must have been when I fell in..
Fell into your eyes....your soul..your heart..fell into your essence..

And so..here I am again.
Looking up..
This time..after everything..after the walks..and the sadness..
After the pain..and the hardship..

Will you once again beckon me to climb..?
