Click hereThough many years have slipped us by.
For what reason I know not why.
Sibling nonsense I would suspect.
Life reminds me its' with regret.
The day your world was ripped apart.
Heard of your pain, it broke my heart.
Now there are these walls between us.
How do we overcome these many years?
Fear,hurt,rejection and some pride.
I worry will keep me on my side.
Anger the mortar of our hurts,
has held our familes at arms length.
Today I see your heart so broke.
With all the hurt. Is there any hope?
Is there time left to craft a door?
To tell you I don't hate no more.
A heart wrenching poem of loss and regret with
the uplifting possibility of forgiveness. Written from
the heart to the heart this poem really hit the spot
for me and I could relate to your words. Strong and
powerfull like all your poems ~ J
