Transferring in MSP I was picked
From the line of passengers,
Perhaps it was my grizzly poetic contentment

Escorted the seven steps
To the station
Flanked by camouflage with M-16's
Slung for effect and action
Had I bolted for the freedom
Outside that smoke free land of glass and concourse

With arms outstretched like a scarecrow
The wand passed gracefully between my legs
Chirping at times near my zipper
Levi rivets, and imagined slugs still
Lodged from skirmish with former love
