Moon is low in the southern sky
will set before midnight
Pleiades, the sister’s tease
high above, and bright,
Watch the sky, wonder why
nothing’s changed, for me
wishing that you might come by
I know you have the key,

Late November, nearly December
the temperature is cold
have airplane to catch
a shirt to iron, and fold,
Off to some reception
a party, or a play
and all the stars that follow me
I’ll visit them, someday …
