Want to lie next to you
hand in hand
on a scratchy
green wool blanket
cloaking dewy grass
beneath deep peacock and star swirled sky
philosophising about the nature of reality
the existence of intelligent life in the universe
the vastness and insignificance of it all
sometimes you catch me glancing at you
sometimes I catch you glancing at me
sometimes forgetting the stars in the sky
and getting lost in each other’s eyes
