Wanting

I have within me a power of mind,
That I wish returned in kind.
Not one lover that I embrace,
Shows me a dominant face.

I search and try to find the One,
With no hope of reaching this peak alone,
But climb the mountain of this despair I will,
With dreams of the summit on which to kneel.

I do not believe that I will forsake,
The notion of the One in the trip I take.
I know the One is there at the end of the road.
He is there, he is there, I have been told.

Not by a person, or by a god,
But by my soul, where my dreams have trod,
To leave foot prints for the One to track,
And find me here and train what I lack.

The better of your first two pieces posted. Has a stronger rhyme structure; unfortunately, this limits your powers of expression. Dom/sub themes work best without rhyme; keep on working at it.
