The constant ache of wanting you
Has overcome my heart.
It’s been my cold companion
Ever since we’ve been apart.

The constant ache of wanting you
Has overwhelmed my soul.
Its icy grip has made me think
I’ll never again feel whole.

This throbbing ache is with me
In every waking hour.
And when I finally fall asleep
In dreams exerts its power.

I ache because I love you so,
A love that will not end.
I have this scar across my heart
That only you can mend.

So if your heart is aching too,
You know right where I’ll be.
Reach out your hand to touch mine,
And I’ll hold you tight to me.

Until that ache just fades away,
And our hearts can beat as one.
We’ll hold tight to our love this time
And never feel alone.
