War Diaries
Day Three

I had a nightmare last night
The sweat left on my body
Stung me like a million bees
362 days left
I should have never signed on the line
My life is not mine now
Its one hundred and thirty in the shade
Suiting up for my first patrol
The butterflies are dancing again
God nothing in this place makes sense
Well here we go
Turning the first corner
They are everywhere
Who is a friend
Who is an enemy.

3 days too many...

I hope the others pass fast...<p>

I like this. There are some facinating images here that envoke a sense of bewilderment and a shade of panic. Excellent. Thank you
